La SECTA ALL STAR - Aqui te espero
La Secta Allstar agrupa al bajista Mark Kilpatrick, la voz de Gustavo Laureano, el baterista John Lengel y el guitarrista Carlos Figueroa. Estos cuatro músicos jóvenes y talentosos poseen las personalidades y los trasfondos más diversos a la vez que comparten un interés por la música. Los miembros de La Secta Allstar se iniciaron con diferentes agrupaciones hasta que las vidas de Mark Kilpatrick y Gustavo Laureano se cruzaron en el Aeropuerto Internacional de Orlando una mañana de enero, 1990.Fue entonces cuando alquilaron un pequeño garaje cerca de su domicilio y allí ensayaban su música. Eventualmente John Lengel, un músico con entrenamiento clásico, y Carlos Figueroa un guitarrista de blues, se unieron a la agrupación.Inmediatamente luego de que se formara La Secta Allstar, los integrantes comenzaron a componer canciones de rock en español ya tocarlas en clubes nocturnos de Miami y Puerto Rico.El primer álbum de La Secta Allstar se tituló "Aniquila" y se produjo por Andrés Levin, nominado para los Grammy y masterizado por George Marino (Metallica, Madonna y otros). En el 24 de abril del 2001, La Secta Allstar lanzó su segunda producción titulada "AllStar". El 12 de enero del 2001 La Secta Allstar vendió totalmente el Coliseo Roberto Clemente en San Juan, Puerto Rico. Actualmente, La Secta Allstar comienza a promoverse en los Estados Unidos, España y próximamente México y centro América. Su ultima produccion titulada"Consejo" ya ha ganado premios Billboards.
LA SECTA ALL STAR - Este corazon
La Secta no es, como podrían imaginar, un grupo dedicado al ocultismo. Su nombre mas bien representa a un grupo de fieles creyentes del medio de comunicación mas sublime y universal que existe: La Música. Hablamos de Mark Kilpatrick, en el bajo, acompañando la voz de Gustavo Laureano, la batería de John Lengel y la guitarra de Carlos Figueroa.
